»DIE MACHEREI Munich« is a space for doers – where ideas are realized, projects tackled and transformed into practice. Flexible and modern workspaces as well as inspiring networking areas offer a versatile meeting zone.

Travel & Parking

Not only the city center of Munich, but the entire city area including the surrounding region are optimally accessible from Macherei München. With the tram and bus right at the doorstep:


  • U-Bahn / subway Josephsburg 9 Min.
  • S-Bahn / urban rail Leutenbergring 8 Min.
  • S-Bahn / urban rail Berg am Laim 9 Min.

From the North (e.g., via A9):

  • Take the A9 motorway to the exit München-Schwabing
  • Continue onto the Mittlerer Ring Ost (B2R) heading towards Zamdorf/Berg am Laim
  • Exit at Berg am Laim/Zamdorf and follow Einsteinstraße
  • Turn onto Weihenstephaner Straße – the "Die Macherei" complex will be on your left


From the South/East (e.g., via A8 or A94):

  • Take the A94 towards Munich
  • Exit at München-Zamdorf
  • Continue along Kreillerstraße, then turn left into Weihenstephaner Straße


From Munich Airport

  • Depart from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2
  • Take the A92 motorway towards Munich
  • Merge onto A9 heading into the city
  • Switch to the Mittlerer Ring Ost (B2R)
  • Exit at Zamdorf/Berg am Laim → continue on Einsteinstraße → turn onto Weihenstephaner Straße

PARKING
 "Die Macherei" has an underground parking garage that is open to the public.

  • Entry is also via Weihenstephaner Straße.
  • The garage is clearly signposted and easy to access.
  • For the best results, set your GPS to Weihenstephaner Straße 12 and follow signs to the underground parking ("Tiefgarage Macherei").

  • Route to venue: 40 km
  • Approximately 35–45 minutes under normal traffic conditions by car
  • During peak hours (around 7:00–9:00 a.m. or 4:30–6:30 p.m.), the trip may take up to 60 minutes
  • The typical taxi fare from Munich Airport to Die Macherei is around €70 to €90
  • Prices can vary depending on traffic and time of day
  • Some services offer flat rates if booked in advance (e.g. via Taxi München eG, Bolt, FreeNow, Uber).

For the MCTTP conference, we have reserved hotel rooms that are available at a special rate at the Scandic Hotel for both the pre-night and the main night. You can book your hotel room at an additional cost during your registration.
